However, the VEBA will still contribute $100 to your monthly premiums. Please contact your local representatives to ask them for support of the reauthorization of the Health Coverage Tax Credit (HCTC)

HCTC UPDATE
Pre 65 BCBSM medical, dental and vision plan benefits will remain the same, however; there will be an average 5.6% increase in Pre 65 plan rates for 2023. At this time, the HCTC is not reauthorized by Congress for 2022 or 2023 and beyond. We still remain optimistic that Congress will extend the HCTC program in future legislation since it is part of the much larger Trade Adjustment Act (TAA) legislation that has also not been addressed in all of 2022. When/if the HCTC program is addressed, we still anticipate the program to become permanent (no more reauthorization delays) and at a higher subsidy of 80%. Please continue to reach out to your Congressional representatives to express your need for the HCTC program's continuation.
